Current Position:

I have been teaching third grade since 2013.   I previously taught high school math at Wortham from 2005 until 2010.

Previous Position:

I started teaching in 1997 after my son graduated high school.   I taught junior high in Mexia from 1997 until 2003.  At that time,  I also taught developmental math at Navarro College part time.  I spent one year teaching the GED at the Boyd Prison Unit and that was all that I needed!!!

Family Information:

I am excited about third grade!  I get to see my little granddaughter grow up as a Wortham Bulldog everyday along with many other precious young children.   My father was a Wortham Bulldog!   My late husband, my son and my son in law were all Mr. Wortham High  in 1977, 1997 and 2001! It's great to be an educator at Wortham!
