Current Position:

This is my first year at Wortham High School and I am very excited to be here.

The classes I will be teaching will include:

- Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources

- Floral Design

- Wildlife, Fisheries and Ecology Management

- Ag Structures and

- Career Prep

Previous Position:

Throughout my time in high school I was heavily involved in the FFA. I loved the leadership aspect of the organization. I participated in several Leadership Development Events (LDE’s) and Career Development Events (CDE’s). I was a Greenhand Officer my freshman year, and a Chapter Officer the remaining three years. I also served as an Area VIII Officer my senior year. I showed livestock that included market and breed rabbits, hogs, and a heifer.

In my time in college I was a member of Future Agricultural Science Teachers (FAST). Through this organization we hosted invitational LDE and CDE contests where I got to serve as a judge all three years.

I cannot wait to get things kicked off and am looking forward to a successful year.

Personal Information:

When I’m not at school I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy hunting and fishing. I have a chocolate lab named Lady who is currently a duck dog in training. Whataburger is my favorite restaurant. I love all things about agriculture and my favorite livestock animals are cattle and pigs. I will forever be a die hard Aggie fan.
