These Culinary Arts students passed the nationally recognized Serv Safe exam on the first administration of the test. This is quite an accomplishment. This certification will help them when applying for jobs in the food industry. Many municipalities require serv safe or a food handler’s certificate for employment. The students with the certification can save their employers money, since they are entering the work force with this already in hand. The employer will not have to pay for them to take the course. Please congratulate these students on their accomplishment. We also want to thank the Bi-County Co-Op for providing the test materials to our students. This saves the students and the district the cost of the test administration.
