We are committed to the success of our students, our parents/caregivers and each other. As role models, we are building a culture of caring and concern through leading by example. When we recognize that students need to understand a common sense approach to problem solving, we promote the best opportunity for success at school and in the workplace, as well as, the world beyond. By agreeing that education is the business of change with many unique characteristics, we can prepare for the future through new technologies, advances in research, and by embracing the ever-growing need for accountability in the 21st Century. Through our focus on commitment, concerned caring and a common sense approach, we provide the best environment for all our kids, each day, no matter what challenges we face, and they in turn, will thrive in reaching their own full potential. Response to Intervention (RTI)

Response to Intervention (RTI) is a multi-tiered approach to help struggling learners. Student progress is closely monitored at each stage of intervention to determine the need for further research-based instruction and, or intervention in general education, in special education, or both. Wortham ISD strives to assist all students in the achievement of their full potential.
