Thank you for visiting our Museum page. The Wortham Museum is located in the District Admin Office. The museum holds items that tell the history of Wortham ISD and its impact on the community. We owe a big thank you to the Wortham ISD Alumni Association for helping us with this large project. Wortham ISD has a long history dedicated to the education of students so that they may become good citizens.
Please drop by and visit the museum. If you would like to donate an item, please call the Superintendent's Administrative Assistant, Sherry Shivers.
Thank you Linda & Richard Wyatt and Nancy & James Cole for donations to the W Museum including gifts in honor of Coach Joe Brady Stooksberry, teacher, coach, principal at Wortham ISD. Thank you museum donors: Robert Morris Benson, Kasi Keeling, Donald Calame, The Wheeler School, Wortham Ex-Students Association, Miller Family, Craig Family, Leonard Davis, WISD students, WISD teachers, Diane Richards, Joe Stooksberry Family, Kelly Butler, and others. Thank you former Superintendent, Dr. Bruce Tabor, and the WISD Trustees for creating the W Museum in 2012. When the high school moved to the new building, many school artifacts surfaced and the museum was created to share the historic treasures of Wortham Schools as years go by.
