Order of Election for May 1, 2021
On March 13, 2020, Governor Abbot certified that the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) poses an imminent threat of disaster and declared a state of disaster for all counties in Texas. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Abbot’s Proclamation giving authority to political subdivision to postpone their May 2, 2020 election to November 3, 2020, the board has passed a resolution to postpone the May election until the November 3, 2020 Uniform Election.
The WISD School Board Election will be included in the November 3rd County Elections.
