Wortham ISD is taking sealed bids for a single-family house to be moved,
located at 419 W. Main St., Wortham, TX 76693.
Bids due by 2:00pm on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Wortham Administration Office
201 S. 4th St., Wortham, TX 76693 Bids will be opened during the April 28, 2025 Board meeting.
You do not have to be present at the meeting. Bidder is responsible for moving expenses and any
property damage. Please contact Superintendent Melissa Bosley for an appointment for
walk-through or any other questions at 254-765-3095 x8. Timeline for removal will be determined.
Wortham ISD reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids may be negotiable.

Board President, Sam Wright announced the continuing education training for each board member that completed, exceeded or is deficient of the required training:

Brent Jones, Doug Miller, Jeff Jones and Russell Black are deficient in meeting the required continuing education.
Public Announcement for G/T Referral
Wortham ISD Gifted and Talented (GT) referral period for the 2024-2025 school year has begun. If you would like your child to be assessed for GT, please contact your child’s teacher or email Courtney Taylor at courtney.taylor@worthamisd.org for the referral paperwork. Referral paperwork is due by January 31, 2025.
