Good Luck to Little Dribblers at Nationals this week!

Little Dribblers is going to Nationals!
Good Afternoon Bulldogs!!
We are so thrilled about the news of our Little Dribblers heading to Nationals this week! Wortham will be WELL REPRESENTED at the Little Dribblers Nationals on April 15th-16th in Franklin again this year. Our kids and their coaches have worked hard, and now that hard work has paid off in a big way. We are excited for our kids, parents, families, and coaches to have this experience. During the day on April 15th and April 16th, we will have over 100 kids out and several of our staff members are parents of these kids, and they will certainly want to be present to watch their kids play basketball. So with that said, we have modified our Elementary and Middle School calendar to help with the low attendance we will experience on those two days. High School will remain on the same calendar/schedule and will have school on these two days. April 15th and April 16th are now Staff Workdays for our Elementary and Middle School. Students will not have to make these days up, and staff will report to work on these two days as usual. If staff members elect to go watch the basketball games in Franklin, they will need to request the day or days off by submitting an absence from duty form to their principals.
Good luck to our Little Dribblers!!

Bulldog families,

This event is completely FREE to join, and the Tarrant Regional Water District supplies registered volunteers with everything they need to help remove litter from all around the lake and reward everyone with an After-Party that includes FREE food, entertainment, activities, and raffle prizes. This is an excellent opportunity for your students to earn community service hours and learn more about how government operates at a local level.
