While Wortham ISD has not received any threats, this morning multiple school districts in Region 12 and across Texas received a bomb threat that appears to have originated from a “bot” email address claiming to be a Russian terrorist organization. Local authorities have determined there is no credible evidence to suggest that a bomb has been planted anywhere on any of the campuses that received the threat, or on any other campus in our region. Affected districts have performed sweeps of their facilities and are coordinating with law enforcement to continue to ensure the safety of students and staff. We want to make you aware of this situation, in the event that you receive a similar threat. Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Junior High Basketball is tonight beginning at 5:30! Our boys are at home vs. Riesel, and our Lady Bulldogs are playing in Riesel! We hope to see you tonight cheering on our students! Go Bulldogs!

Come join the Christmas on the Bricks festivities Annual Fire Dept. Chili Supper Santa Claus is coming to town Wednesday December 13th @6pm @ the Wortham Fire Dept.

WHS Health Careers Academy has received a training ambulance from Allegiance Ambulance Services. We need to have our program information "wrapped" on the ambulance. Texas Wrap in Burleson has graciously donated half the cost to wrap it, but we need help coming up with the other half. If you would like to have your family name or company name on the side let us know. The larger the donation, the larger the font size. This is an amazing opportunity for our EMT students, and for our whole community!!!

It's Bulldog Bi-district playoff time! The Bulldogs will play James Bowie on Friday night in Lone Oak ISD's Buffalo Stadium. You can purchase tickets at this address: https://tinyurl.com/Playoff-Ticket. Wortham is the home team. Tickets will be available at the gate as well, but due to construction and gate limitations, we highly recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time. Both cash and cards are accepted.
