Greetings, Recordings from the T3 Community Event, “Fostering Statewide Community Connections”, are now available on the T3 Series page. Please note that PDFs of the slides in each language offered are found in the description on each recording. Watch Parties and families were able to enjoy presentations on the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Managing Stress and Anxiety, and Resources for Mental Health portal in eight different languages. We hope this event will continue to grow and reach new audiences through the continued use of recordings! Texas has an open primary, so any registered voter can participate in the Republican or Democratic primary. Starting Feb. 20, please vote in the primary of your choice!

This is a reminder that the deadline to register to vote in the very important primary elections is February 5, 2024. Please make sure you are registered as primary elections usually determine who represents us and the schools and students we care for so deeply.

Our JH Basketball teams are in action tonight! The Lady Bulldogs play Dawson at home at 5:30, and our Bulldog teams play in Dawson at 5:30! Good luck tonight!

Our Bulldog basketball teams play Riesel at home tonight! The JV boys will play at 5:00, followed by the Varsity Lady Bulldogs, and finally the Varsity Bulldogs. We hope to see you this evening! Go Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs!

Our basketball teams play in Mart tonight! The Varsity Girls will play first at 5:00, followed by Varsity Boys, and the final game will be the JV Boys. Good luck to all of our teams tonight! Go Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs!

As you probably know, the elections upcoming in 2024 will be critical for public education in Texas. However, please don’t assume that you can worry about that right before the general election in November. Please make sure that you are registered to vote (you can find information on registration here: https://www.votetexas.gov/register-to-vote/update-voterregistration.htmldeadline or by calling 1-800-252-VOTE. The deadline to register is Monday, February 5th. Once you are registered, get informed about candidates for state office and make a plan to vote in the primary elections on March 5th, 2024 (early voting begins February 20th). You can find more information about candidates at the following sites: • TexasEducatorsVote.com • TeachtheVote.org • TexasTeachersVote.org • League of Women Voters – LWV-TX Voters Guide In most places in our state, the primary elections actually determine the ultimate winner so if your voice is going to be heard, it MUST begin with voting in the primary election. In Texas, anyone can vote in either the Democrat or Republican primary regardless of how you have voted in the past, or how you intend to vote in November’s general election. Our goal should be to choose candidates who will represent their constituents and our schools well, regardless of party affiliation.

The Varsity basketball games vs. Axtell will be held on Wednesday, January 17th. The Lady Bulldogs will play at 5 PM, and the Varsity boys will play immediately after.

Due to continued falling precipitation and freezing temperatures today, Wortham ISD will be closed on Tuesday, January 16th. All activities are also postponed and will be rescheduled. We will continue to monitor the weather and will update as needed. Stay safe and warm!

Due to a shortage of officials, all the Junior High basketball games will be in Hubbard beginning at 5:30 today. The girls will start at 5:30, followed by the Boys White team, and then the Boys Blue team will play immediately after. Let's go, Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs!
